How likely are you to recommend Restore Compassionate Care?
“**EDIT** I deleted almost all my original review. There is no reason to leave up the negative part of my initial contact with Restore Compassion. The experience of my initial contact has been resolved. Since my wish was to continue with Loren as my CNP, I am happy to say that has been achieved. Although I had only two previous appointments with Loren, I felt comfortable with him immediately. I seldom find a level of trust so quickly while searching for a new counselor/therapist. It's difficult enough for me to make "a cold call" if you will. RCC has made it better. Thank you.”
“I absolutely love my counselor. She’s the best counselor ever had Catherine Dye, she’s so pleasant to deal with and very happy and very good. I love Corey the receptionist. Love the Doctor too !!”
“I called at 3:30 pm on May 20th to schedule a new patient appointment to get help with my PTSD. The woman who answered the phone was immediately abrasive and seemed upset with me for calling. I tried to proceed with scheduling anyhow , but she seemed so frustrated by having to speak to me i eventually gave up. All in all wasn't great for my mental health. Would not recommend.”
“**Disappointing experience — not accessible or compassionate for neurodiverse patients** I was really hopeful about trying this practice, but the front office experience made it clear this isn’t the right place for me. First, the amount of paperwork required *just to schedule* an appointment was overwhelming — a huge stack, with no clear or accessible way to complete it for someone who is neurodiverse. I understand forms are part of the process, but a mental health facility should know how to make that process more user-friendly. When I called to schedule my appointment, I found out I had missed two small sections. I asked if I could finish them over the phone, at my first appointment, or by dropping them off. Instead of giving me a clear answer, the staff just kept repeating that my paperwork was “incomplete.” No one seemed to know how to handle the situation. Then the office manager got on the phone. Rather than meeting me where I was or offering any flexibility, they simply berated me for not finishing the paperwork. I fully understand that insurance information is necessary before an appointment — but there are many simple, compassionate ways to collect that information (email, drop-off, etc.). For a practice called *Restore Compassionate Care*, I expected a little understanding and problem-solving. At that point, I decided this was not the right fit. If it takes that level of masking and stress just to get through the front office, it’s not worth it. There is nothing compassionate about how the front office handled this situation. If you’re neurodiverse or need a bit of patience and flexibility, this practice is not set up to support you. I shouldn’t have to high-mask to access mental health care — that defeats the entire purpose.”
